On May 22, the College of Fine Arts at Guizhou University launched its 2025 Graduate Exhibition for master’s students at the Art Museum in Runzheng Building, East Campus. Vice President Wang Jinrong attended the opening ceremony and officially declared the exhibition open. The event was also attended by university and college leaders, along with the entire faculty and student body of the College of Fine Arts. The ceremony was hosted by Tang Changqiao, Party Secretary of the College.
During the ceremony, Professor Geng Yi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, introduced the exhibition’s theme and key features. In his address to the graduating class of 2025, he expressed his heartfelt congratulations and encouraged the students to remain confident in their cultural heritage, apply what they have learned, and pursue a bright and promising future.
After the ceremony, Vice Presidents Wang Jinrong and Wang Xu toured the exhibition and spoke warmly with faculty and students.


Running from May 22 to May 29, the exhibition presents a vibrant showcase of creativity and innovation. With fresh perspectives and imaginative approaches, the graduating students explore themes such as Guizhou’s culture and regional development. The exhibition features over 170 artworks across a range of disciplines, including traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, and sculpture. It also highlights more than 40 distinctive design projects in areas such as folk-art innovation, visual design research, brand identity and strategy, and handcrafted design.
